Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! I am in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I also accept private pay clients. All major debit, credit, or FSA/HSA cards are acceptable methods of payment.
What does Out-Of-Network mean?
Out-of-network means that I am not contracted with that particular insurance company. I am able to give you a superbill (or itemized receipt) to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement by means of using your “out-of-network benefits.” It is similar to in-network providers in that you will be required to have a co-pay until your deductible is met. Typically, out-of-network services will have higher co-pays depending on your plan. Co-pays could range anywhere from the full fee of service to a fraction of the service based on numerous factors. I encourage you to reach out to your insurance provider to learn more about what your out-of-network benefits include.
How much does a session cost?
An individual session costs $150. Premarital counseling costs $200. All sessions are 60 minutes.
Are sessions in-person or virtual?
I currently only offer virtual sessions via HIPAA Compliant video conferencing through Simple Practice.
How do you pronounce your last name?
The most frequently asked question! It is French in origin and is pronounced “voing-yay.” It is spelled similar to the Viognier wine. A trick when remembering the spelling is thinking of the wine, and then switching the “I” and “O.”
